When a player loses a fight against an opponent, they'll be sent to the continue screen after being mocked by the opponent. The screen zooms out everytime a number counts down. Depending on the character they use, they have different quotes, reguarding if they want to continue or not.
When the timer finally hits zero, the Game Over screen appears with a red font in CAPS, and with the defeated player character.
The Game Over screen even appears after beating the game without the defeated player character, level difficulty number and credit taglines.
